Are
functional, engineered things, and can be stunning, too.
This
is superb, chugging over the bridge. On your boat.
I think there should be a new London Bridge like the old one, with a
mad arcade of overhanging premises, shops and kiosks all along the
way.
This
is so elegant, just sort of hanging there, almost organic-looking.
An engineer's solution. Make it a double-decker, trains and cars get across.
Not
everything modern falls into that Bauhaus to Our House rubbish
category.
